It is possible to serve hard, endure much, and be doctrinally right - while the fire quietly goes out. Jesus' remedy is tender and concrete: remember, repent, and do the first works. Go back to where you left the flame.

Lord Jesus, show me where I left my first love - and give me grace this week to do the first works again.
