A closed fist keeps what it has and receives nothing new. Generosity is a kind of trust: that the God who filled your hand once is able to fill it again. Whoever refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
Prayer
Father, unclench my hands. Let me give freely today - money, time, credit, comfort - trusting you to refill.
